This is the story of the misfortune that happens to the fortunate earl Thomas Wentworth when he tries to retrieve information from a rival's estate. Finding out that the lovely woman who continually compounds his misfortunes since the moment they met, Fia MacLean is none other than Duncan MacLean's very own cousin.
With continued bad luck, Thomas ends up married to the fiesty Fia. Fia had been trying to get to London to get her plays performed. Ending up married to Thomas proved to add more adventure to her life.
Overall, the story took a little while to kick off, but I enjoyed it.
