Really enjoyable. Fast paced, sexy, just the right mix of intrigue.
Dr. Ellie Sullivan knows all about isolation and fear. Hiding out from a mad stalker who has tried to kill her since she was a child, Ellie became a trauma doctor to help others in need. Coming across an FBI sting while on a run, she helps to save FBI Agent Sean Goodman while catching sight of the wanted bad guys. Coming up against the handsome Agent Max Daniels, Ellie is drawn in, even though she knows it is only for a brief fling.
Max Daniels is intrigued by the mystery behind Ellie Sullivan. A deeply compassionate woman, she is separated from her family by a stalker that has managed to keep escaping justice for his misdeeds. Finding out that she is also the target from the ruthless Landry couple, he sets himself up as her protector.
The family dynamics of Ellie and her family add a great twist to the story. The addition of Max's family story is great.
