Andrea knew that endometriosis would soon end her chances of ever having a child. When her boss, Gabe, suddenly proposed to her and offered her this chance of a family, she accepted. But she had doubts, marrying without his love would be difficult.
Gabe needed Andrea. He loved her, but was waiting for her to love him. Taking her back to reunite with his family, he hoped to lay to rest the issues that caused his eighteen year absence.
Slowly, with Andrea's help, they pieced together the past and the events that lead to Gabe leaving the island home and seeking his fortune in another country. Day by day, he drew closer to his family, but Andrea felt she no longer had a purpose for being there. Gabe no longer needed her, and once she had her period, there would be no expected child.
A very heart moving story. Wonderful to read.
