Luke Randell had not been back to the family ranch since his parents divorce when he was six years old. Inheriting the ranch along with a half brother he had never met, Luke sets out to make the most profitable deal he can to recoup the losses he had taken earlier in the year. Little did he know, that coming to the ranch would set him up to think more about family and less about profit.
Tess Meyers lived on the Randell ranch, trying to raise her daughter and care for her ailing father. Her dreams of raising quater horses and staying on the ranch seem in jeopardy when Luke arrives and seems set to sell up and move back to Dallas. Being born a Randell might have ranching in his blood, but having never had an opportunity to be with family, he had a difficult time believing he could have his own.
A very sweet story.
