Duncan Patrick is the meanest CEO in the country. His take no prisoners approach to business has earned him a vile reputation. His board of directors want a change, and they want him to become NICE. To find a nice, steady woman to date and deflect the bad image he portrays.
When he goes to confront Tim McCoy about embezzling from his company, he is ensnared in the nice sweet temptation of his sister, Annie McCoy. Having Annie agreeing to be his date for the holiday season, he agrees to wipe out half the debt Tim owes, and to get him the help he needs for a gambling addiction.
The more time Annie spends with Duncan, the more she realises Duncan is more bark than bite. Presenting him with some valid ideas to help his business and his relationship with his employees, Annie worms her way in to his heart. But Duncan knows she won't stay. Women always leave. HIs mom had deserted him, his ex-wife deserted him, can he trust in the feelings he has for Annie?
Very well written. A joy to watch the relationship build and the changes in both as they learn more about each other.
