That distraction leads to a crash and injury that requires he seek out physical therapy. None other than a former World Surfing Champion, Libby Henderson, is commissioned to come to his aid.
The sparks ignite quickly, but Libby has a secret, and a fear of letting herself be hurt again. Taking a chance with Alex, she would have to decide if she could face that pain, only to find, Alex has more damage than she does.
