Once again, a re-read for me. First read in 1990.
Georgie sneaks away from the family home to try and track down her missing fiance. Little did she know that the journey to England would land her against a brick wall, and her future English husband!
The brick wall, James Malory was the notorious pirate Captain Hawke during the war. Now an ex-pirate, and an English noble man, he seeks to close his Jamacian estate and return to the family fold. The trip proves very intriguing when his cabin boy is really Georgina in disguise.
Truly a great read.
